When it comes to talking about Jesus and doing evangelism, we get so focused on “what we need to say”. But, there is something more important than what we’re going to say…
It’s actually listening to and obeying the Spirit.
This video is a snippet of teaching on how important it was for Philip in Acts 8 to listen to and obey the Spirit’s direction. In fact, if he didn’t listen and follow well, there wouldn’t have been any person to talk to!
So, next time you get so worked up about what you’re going to say, remember that how you are listening to and following the Spirit’s direction might be more than enough. How he positions you might be more important than what you are going to say.
